Explore Provenance

Where Signature begins.
Where the Signature Collection begins. The Origin is a 40mm gallery-grade board of up to seven hardwoods — Red Gum, Jarrah, Blackbutt, American Oak, Victorian Ash, Tasmanian Oak and Red Box composed into a single, luminous surface. Finished to museum standard and substantial in the hand — made to present cheese and charcuterie, seafood or a single beautiful object. Every Origin ships with its Certificate of Provenance — the species within, their origin, the board's unique number and the Maker's finishing notes. The most accessible way into the Signature world, and already, unmistakably, a work of art. No two alike.
Dimensions: 500 × 300 × 40mm (approx.). Each board is handcrafted and one of one, so exact dimensions vary slightly.

Questions
As a guide, The Origin (500 × 300mm) holds a grazing spread for about 4 people — cheese, cured meats, seafood, fruit or bread.
Yes. The Origin is solid mixed hardwood, Australian timbers with American Oak, hand-oiled with a food-safe finish, made for bringing any food to the table.
Every piece ships with its own printed Certificate of Provenance: the timber species, where it was grown, the board's unique Board No. and the Maker's finishing notes. No two are alike, and the certificate proves it.
Hand wash only and dry completely. After every use, oil it with Board Care Oil, then seal it with Board Care Balm: always oil first, then balm. Never soak, dishwash or leave in direct sun. A light sand and re-oil refreshes it for the next generation.
Yes. Serve charcuterie, seafood, fruit or bread, rest it across your lap on the lounge as a steady tray, or stand it on a shelf as a piece in its own right.
